STMicroelectronics STEVAL-LEOPOL1V1 Evaluation Board

STMicroelectronics STEVAL-LEOPOL1V1 Evaluation Board was developed and optimized for a typical LEOPOL1 application. The LEOPOL1 is a single-phase, step-down monolithic switching regulator with a high-precision internal voltage reference and integrated power MOSFETs for synchronous conversion.

The STMicro LEOPOL1 regulator converts a 3V to 12V input voltage to a 0.8V to (0.85 x VIN) output voltage. The controller is based on a peak current mode architecture, ensuring a fast load transient response and stable switching frequency. An embedded integrator compensates for the DC voltage error due to the output voltage ripple.
