Mouser EU Accessibility Statement

At Mouser Electronics, Inc., we believe that access to technology is a fundamental enabler of innovation. As a global distributor serving engineers, educators, and makers around the world, we are committed to ensuring that our digital platforms empower all users—regardless of ability—to explore, design, and build the technologies of tomorrow.

We are actively enhancing the accessibility and usability of our websites and mobile applications in substantial compliance with the European Accessibility Act (EAA) and other applicable legislation.

We view accessibility as a responsibility—one we fulfill by integrating inclusive design into our digital landscape. This involves applying accessible design principles to enhance navigation and readability, enabling compatibility with screen readers, keyboard navigation, and various assistive technologies, and consistently assessing and updating our website through both manual and automated accessibility evaluation tools, along with user feedback. Additionally, our website developers have been trained in web accessibility and universal design techniques.

Our efforts are ongoing. If you encounter any barriers while using our website, we welcome your feedback and encourage you to contact us using the Accessibility Feedback form. We will work with you provide assistance accessing the information, item, or transaction you seek through an alternate means that is accessible for you and consistent with applicable law (for example, by means of telephone support).

While we have no control over third parties, we strongly encourage them to provide accessible, user-friendly digital content.

Our accessibility commitment

Since 2019, Mouser has implemented a comprehensive accessibility programme that includes the following:

  • Dedicated Accessibility team: Our efforts are guided by accessibility leaders certified by the International Association of Accessibility Professionals (IAAP).
  • Staff Training: We provide role-specific training across departments to embed inclusive design principles into everyday workflows.
  • Third-Party Audits: Independent experts conduct regular third-party audits to evaluate and improve the accessibility of our digital platforms.
  • User Testing: We involve people with disabilities in usability testing to ensure our solutions are accessible and effective in real-world scenarios.
  • Development Integration: We integrate accessibility tools and checks directly into our software development lifecycle to proactively identify and address potential barriers.

While the standards may change or evolve over time, we currently strive to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA and EN 301 549 standards.
