Vishay / BC Components AEC-Q200-Qualified NTC SMD Chip Thermistors deliver high sensitivity and high accuracy over a wide temperature range (-55°C to +150°C). These negative temperature coefficient (NTC) surface-mount thermistors (NTCS series) are qualified to AEC-Q200 standards, making them ideal for temperature compensation, sensing, and protection circuits in various applications across all market segments. The thermistors feature robust construction with flexible polymer terminations, resulting in a reliable and stable solution in thermal cycling environments considering either rigid PCB or flexible circuit-mount designs.
Vishay / BC Components NTCS thermistors use bulk ceramic technology and are available in three standard surface-mount case sizes (0402, 0603, and 0805). The NTCS series offers stable and accurate temperature measurements ranging from -55°C to +150°C. NTCS components are AEC-Q200 qualified, UL recognized, and available in multiple resistance values (R25) and curve (B25/85) combinations for design flexibility. This series is resilient to thermal cycling thanks to its bulk construction and flexible polymer terminations.
NTCS thermistors are designed as a solution for temperature measurement applications that include automotive, industrial, medical, aerospace/military, and consumer. The robust design and construction ensure reliable mounting on both PCBs and flexible circuits. Available in paper tape-and-reel, NTCS thermistors are fully compatible with high-volume, automated manufacturing processes, including wave soldering and reflow soldering. The tin-plated nickel termination provides better wettability and improved reliability against leaching.
