Vishay / Draloric AC0x Safety (AC0x..CS) Resistors
Vishay / Draloric AC0x..CS Series Axial Cemented Fusible Wirewound Safety Resistors use specially selected resistive winding wire and special non-flammable silicon cement coating material to ensure safe and silent fusing operation in overload conditions. The resistor fuses "without a bang" when AC mains voltage is applied and simultaneously acts as an inrush current limiting resistor for the normal operation. The AC0x..CS series resistors from Vishay are UL1412 recognized fusible wirewound resistors with Sn coated Cu termination wires.
