
Seeed Studio BeagleBone® Green
Seeed Studio BeagleBone® Green is a low-cost, open-source development board that provides a compact footprint, numerous interfaces, and expandability with on-board Grove connectors which work with the Seeed Grove ecosystem. The BeagleBone Green features a Texas Instruments TIAM3358 Sitara 1GHz Arm® Cortex®-A8 MCU and 512MB of DDR3 RAM. Other features include 4GB of flash storage, NEON floating-point accelerator, 2x PRU 32-bit MCUs, USB client for power and communications, USB host mode, Ethernet, 2x 46-pin headers, and 2 Grove Connectors.The Seeed Studio BeagleBone Green is fully compatible with existing BeagleBone Black software, and existing Capes can work with the BeagleBone Green.
The Grove Connectors on the Beaglebone Green are part of a modular standardized connector prototyping system, designed to allow users to build applications without soldering or using jump wires. Seeed offers a wide variety of modular sensors, actuators, displays, and other modules utilizing the Grove Connectors, so that they can easily connected to the Beaglebone Green.
