Analog Devices Inc. EVAL-HMC8205 Evaluation Board
Analog Devices Inc. EVAL-HMC8205 Evaluation Board helps designers evaluate the features of the 0.3GHz to 6GHz HMC8205 RF Amplifier. This two-layer evaluation board includes the HMC8205 RF Amplifier and features a 10mil thick Rogers 4350B copper-clad design.
Connectors are populated at the RFIN and RFOUT ports. Their respective RF traces have a 50Ω characteristic impedance. Analog Devices EVAL-HMC8205's copper heat spreader provides thermal relief to the HMC8205 RF Amplifier as well as mechanical support to the PCB. Designers can easily attach larger heat sinks for improved thermal management using the board's mounting holes.
