Analog Devices Inc. LTM4663 Ultrathin μModule® TEC Regulator

Analog Devices Inc. LTM4663 Ultrathin μModule® Thermo-Electric Cooler (TEC) Regulator combines a TEC controller, linear power stage, switching regulator, inductor, and all support components in a tiny LGA package. Operating over an input voltage range of 2.7V to 5.5V, the LTM4663 supports a 1.5A continuous sink or source current capability. Only input and output capacitors are needed. The LTM4663 has two self-correcting, auto-zeroing amplifiers (Chopper 1 and Chopper 2) to serve as the thermistor input amplifier and the temperature feedback control loop.  

The LTM4663 supports NTC, PTC thermistors, and Resistive Temperature Detectors (RTD). The maximum cooling and heating currents can be programmed independently as well as the maximum TEC voltage.

The LTM4663 μModule TEC Regulator is offered in a compact, RoHS compliant 3.5mm x 4.0mm x 1.3mm LGA25 package, with a wide -55°C to +125°C operating temperature range.
