Analog Devices Inc. LTC3882 Demo Board DC2252A-B

Analog Devices Inc. LTC3882 Demo Board DC2252A-B is a lab tool designed to enable programming and verification of the EEPROM inside the LTC3882-1 Dual Output PolyPhase Step-down DC-DC Voltage Mode Controller. The DC2252A-B features an on-board clamshell-style programming socket, and is shipped with a LTC3882-1 Power Management IC pre-installed. The EEPROM contains the factory default configuration. The LTC3882 Demo Board DC2252A-B requires a Windows PC, the DC1613A USB-to-I2C/SMBus/PMBus Controller, and the LTpowerPlay software. The LTpowerPlay™ .proj file that corresponds to the factory default can be found in the GUI.

LTpowerPlay GUI Software

LTpowerPlay is a powerful Windows based development environment that supports Analog Devices Inc. Power Management ICs (PMICs), including the LTC3880, LTC3883, LTC3882, LTC2974, and LTC2978. LTpowerPlay can be used to evaluate the PMICs by connecting to a Demo Board system. LTpowerPlay can also be used in an offline mode (with no hardware present) in order to build a multichip configuration file that can be saved and reloaded at a later time.

LTpowerPlay can function as a diagnostic tool during board bring-up to program or tweak the power management scheme in a system, or to diagnose power issues when bringing up rails. The software also includes an automatic update feature to keep the software current with the latest set of device drivers and documentation.
