Analog Devices Inc. ADP2384 Step-Down DC-DC Regulator
Analog Devices ADP2384 4A Synchronous Step-Down DC-DC Regulator includes an integrated 44mΩ, high-side power MOSFET and an 11.6mΩ, synchronous rectifier MOSFET to deliver a compact, high-efficiency solution. The ADP2384 regulator has a peak current mode, constant frequency pulse-width-modulation (PWM) control scheme to deliver an excellent stability and transient response. Designers can program the switching frequency of the ADP2384 between 200kHz to 1.4MHz. ADP2384’s synchronization function allows designers to synchronize the switching frequency to an external clock in order to minimize system noise. Operating from a 4.5V to 20V input voltage, the regulator requires a minimal number of external components and delivers up to 4A of continuous current. Designers can adjust the output voltage from 0.6V to 90% of the input voltage. ADP2384’s precision enables and power good features provide easy and reliable power sequencing. Additional features include overvoltage protection (OVP), overcurrent protection (OCP), undervoltage lockout (UVLO), short-circuit protection (SCP), and thermal shutdown (TSD).Features
